Yeah, I had Spotify on a random shuffle the other day as one does while doing boring household shit, and I was definitely immediately arrested enough by this one to actually pause the thing I was doing and pay attention to the background noise. And was shocked by the artist: not sure if you've encountered Lambert's work before, but if not she tends to be of the...loud and bawdy school of country--not a bad thing to have on at a party, but she's never shown an inclination towards philosophy and meditation before, and she's good enough at it I'd love to see her persevere and mature in the style.
It's funny because I was surprised to see that this was such a recent release from her. I'm likewise more a fan of her quieter work like "More Like Her" or "The House That Built Me", which I feel like she mostly did earlier in her career.
