I say ever because I found the thread long before I actually heard the song, in all its eerie, hauntingness. But even before I started loving the song, it always gave me the warmest bubble to see queer interpretations in this genre that's so often represented the worst heteronormativity. Just; fandom is fucking beautiful sometimes.
I don't think I've ever seen that particular thread, but I've definitely read a lot of similar takes over the years. It's a song that absolutely calls out for queering.
